Day 28

My baby is 3 months old today. It seems like just a few weeks ago all his clothes were too big! I tried to do a little photo shoot of him. This is one of the best. I just think he is the cutest thing ever (well at least he's in a 4 way tie with his brothers and sister!) I just hope he knows how much he is loved and that his daddy and I will never let anything bad happen to him.

Here is another picture of him. I think he is so sweet when he is sleeping. He looks like a little angel laying there. I love when I hold him while he sleeps. He is just so cute I could hug him and kiss him all up!

Day 27

Well yesterday we started getting ice and it made the roads slippery so we got a snow day today. Then we finally got some snow later in the afternoon today. So the boys went sledding with one of their friends. Here they are getting back. Don't they look cold? Of course they would never admit to it! And we got another snow day tomorrow! Yay!!!

Day 26

You would think with 4 kids running around the house life would be a little more exciting. But tonight was just more of the same. The boys did homework, Em ran around taking her diaper off all night, and I took a couple pictures of Alex. Here he is with a goofy little grin on his face.

Hopefully, with no school tomorrow because of ice I will have more exciting pictures to post!

Day 25

Emily LOVES to help me cook dinner. Or at least eat "bites" as I'm cooking. No wonder she wasn't hungry when it was time for dinner! That's an olive she's eating in the first picture and a bell pepper in the last one.

Day 24

We are still wrapping Drew's toe. The nail hasn't came off yet but it's barely hanging on. Every time we wrap his toe Emmy has to have her's wrapped too so I usually put a piece of tape on it. That usually makes her happy.

Day 23

The boys have to read Mon-Thurs for 20 min. each. Here they are reading before bedtime. Of course Miss Em has to see what they are doing. They would love if she would sit down so they could read to her. But she doesn't have time to sit still! Don't look at the mess!

Day 21

Today wasn't as cold as it has been so the kids played outside for a few minutes after I picked them up. When I first came out with the camera Emily was playing with her brothers.


Of course as soon as she heard me take the picture, she had to run over to the tree...


so I could take her picture!

Day 20

Zachy loves his little brother! He was singing to him.

Here's Drew my mathematician. The saying goes learn from your parents mistakes. And so my children must do their homework as soon as they get home at the kitchen table. No doing our homework in our room with our tv on. I know how effective that is!!! Right Dad?!

Day 18

So remember the picture of Alex from Day 14? These are the pants he is wearing in that picture! Emily is such a Skinny Minnie! It might have something to do with the fact she never stops!

Day 17

Gotta love Redbox! With the price of everything going up and me not working this semester because of student teaching, it's the one thing we can still do as a family. Rent movies at the Redbox for a dollar! And it can't be any easier to pick them up since it seems I can't get away from Wal-Mart even though I'm not working there right now!

Day 16- Jan 16, 2007

So today was my first day student teaching. I was up at 5 this morning so I could get ready and leave by 6:45 to get to Ft. Scott by 7:30. Needless to say I was exhausted when I got home. Therefor I have no pictures from today. So I decided to find a picture from the past. I found these pictures that I took on January 16, 2007. I'm not for sure if they are sticking their tongues out to catch snow or if I told them to stick them out. I remember that these pictures were taken the day after they dared each other to put their tongues on the basketball goal pole. That was an experience! Oh the life of having a brother!

Day 15

Alex is all snug as a bug and ready for bed.

Day 14

So the hardest part about this blog so far has been picking the pictures to put on here. So today, I'm posting one picture of each of the kids! Starting with the littlest one.

And here is Drew, with his BIG toe injury! For those that don't know, he got his toe nail almost ripped off when his brother opened the door and caught the nail. After having x-rays nothing was broken and we are just waiting for the healing process to take its course. In the mean time it is very gross looking!

Day 13

Here we are on our way to pick up the boys. What can I say? He's a cutie! I love putting him in little grown up clothes! I also like when he's in his jammies and curls up on you. He's such a sweetie!

Day 12

Emily is such a silly girl. Drew was on the floor playing with Alex and Emily comes and climbs on his back. She of course thought it was the funniest thing ever! She then fell off on purpose so she could climb back up again!


OK I couldn't resist I had to post this picture too! Remember how I told you Emily was such a good helper? Well this is one of her FAVORITE chores to do! She just loves to help unload the dishwasher. I'm not sure where she gets her need for cleanliness. Not from her mother that's for sure!

Day 11

Can anyone guess what game Zach is playing? Yep you guessed it!! Guitar Hero! I can't believe how grown up he looks in this picture!

Day 10

Emily has to help everyone with everything (if you want it or not!) Here Emily is helping daddy put up the new dust buster we got (mainly to clean up her messes!)

Day 8

Emily's hair has grown so much since last summer. Even the sides are starting to grow and her mullet is finally growing out! I decided to try and put piggytails in her hair. They were so cute and she actually left them in for about an hour and a half!

Day 7

Emmy LOVES to have her picture taken. Whenever she hears the camera make the sound that it's on she stops what she is doing and says CHEESE!! It makes it very hard to take a picture of her doing something cute. You have to sneak on her to catch her in the act.

I have no idea what she has on her face. Whatever we had for lunch that day!

Day 5

When Emmy crashes she crashes! This is also pretty much the only time you will see her stay in one place for any length of time! (sorry for the poor quality it's another cell phone picture)

Day 4

So this isn't the greatest picture but I took it with my phone. Here is Alex our newest addition to our family. This was taken the day we got back from Branson. He is smiling a lot now when you talk to him. He is the sweetest little thing.

Day 2

Here's the boys with their balloon creations they got at The Landing in Branson. Zach has a sword with a holster and Drew has a martian with a lazer.

Day 1 Happy New Year

Happy New Year!!! We brought in the New Year in Branson, MO with my family. Here they are getting ready to make a HUGE mess!!! I'm sure they will be finding confetti in that room for the rest of the year!!
