My Christmas Cards...

they're still sitting on my counter.  Waiting for stamps...  I hope I make it to the post office before heading into Wal-Mart to work.  I had the best intentions to load the kids up, get stamps, ingredients for cookies, and a few other odds and ends.  However, and there seems to always be a however, I couldn't find Emmy's other shoe, and then it was 1 and Days was on, the boys wanted to go play with their friends, and Alex was whinny because it was nap time.  So there my cards sit... still on the counter... and it's one day closer to Christmas... and one more day late for my Christmas cards.  To bad too, cause they were really cute this year.

Welcome to Not Me! Monday!

This is my first Not Me! Monday... but here I go!

It was not me that decided a little less then a year ago that I, the girl that can't ever do anything everyday for more then a week, was going to do a project 365.  And it definitely was not me that only made it a few months collectively.  Because we all know that when I decide to do something I do it all the way or nothing! 

I so did not let my children eat candy bars before lunch because we only eat healthy around here and only have chocolate for special occasions.

It's a good thing I'm not a procrastinator too.  I would never wait till the last minute to make Christmas cards, get them stuffed, stamped, ready to mail at the last minute and then STILL have them sitting on the counter ready to be mailed!

So some of you have seen these on Facebook, but here they are again! Emmy got a hold of my sharpie that was in my pocket from work. She decided to color herself. It was quite the surprise for me and James when we saw here. We asked her what she did and he told us she was a cat! See her whiskers?

This is where I found Drew one morning after I told him he could find his socks in the dryer. Of course Zach had to get in on the action too! what a couple of goof balls, no wonder thier little sister and brother are so ornery! They learn from the best!

Sept. 9

Not the best picture in the world. I guess she just didn't want to get her picture taken. This is one of her new fall outfits! I've had that bow since she was only a few months old. She doesn't keep anything in her hair but finally will keep bows and ponytails for a few minutes. It all depends on her mood!

My first Oreo! Sept 3

This wasn't the first time he ate an Oreo, BUT it was the first time he got to eat it all by himself! I would be lying if I said he didn't enjoy it!!! It was straight to the bathtub after eating his Oreo!

We're going walking Sept 2

So I started walking at the beginning of September, it only lasted a few weeks. I need to start it up again, but I also need to do a billion other things too! Here's is Alex and Emmy ready to go on our walk! The outfit Emmy has on I got for $1 at Wal-Mart!!

Emmy has been introduced to graham crackers. She calls them trackers AND you have to give her all four parts without breaking them apart! Here she is eating a tracker wearing her new Dora shirt and her hand me up shorts from her cousin Lexi! She is sitting in HER chair watching HER tartoons. Just ask her she'll tell you. Oh yeah, don't get between her and her tartoons either! She'll tell you to MOVE!!!!!!

Wed. Aug 26

The boys stayed home again today, but are feeling much better and are heading back to school tomorrow. Drew hardly coughed at all today, so I'm thinking we caught that pneumonia in the very beginning. YAY!!! Zach too was feeling 100% today and has now been fever free for over 24 hrs! So back to school for them it is. When some, but not all of their makeup work done.

8-24-09

Today was a little nuts. Both boys had to stay home from school because they were sick. I didn't take any pictures, so here is a couple from when Kristy and the boys had come to spend the night. My parents also came up and brought Danny. We heard the ice cream truck so of course we all had to get some ice cream! Thanks Dad!!!

First we had to pick out our ice cream. There were a lot of decisions to make.

Sunday Aug 23- Busted

We have a lock on our fridge because Emmy is always rummaging through it. Now Alex is mobile, and any chance he gets of sneaking into the fridge, he takes it! I find the two of them in their a lot. No, they can't open the lock, but someone, usually me, forgets to lock the door when she is done!

Sat Aug 22

Today during Alex's bath he scared me to death. I was getting ready to get him out of the bath tub. I turned to get his towel ready and he slipped and feel under the water. It only took me 5 seconds to get him out but that five seconds seemed to last forever! I scooped him out and held onto him tight. He was upset but he was soon over it.

Here he is freshly clean, and obviously over his bathroom incident, sporting a mohawk!!!

Beautiful Day 8-21-09

So today was very nice, a nice change from all the rain we have been getting. After running around signing the boys up for sports we went out back to play. I took TONS of pictures! I will attempt to choose a couple to post.

I thought this picture was a cute one of the three boys. I wish you could see more of Drew's face, but I still think it's cute!

Here's Emmy, she kept looking at me through the slats saying "CHEESE", so of course I had to take her picture!

8-20-09 Emma-razzi!

Emily loves getting a hold of my camera and taking pictures. So we got her one of those Fisher Price cameras. She has been snapping pictures ever since Daddy bought it and she got in the van to go home! I will have to upload the pictures and then Emmy can post her picture of the day! Until then.. here is a picture of my little shutterbug!

I can't believe that Alex is almost 1! He will be 10 months on the the 28th. He is EVERYWHERE! He doesn't like to be left alone in a room. He follows Emily everywhere. They are starting to play together even though sometimes Emily can be the bossy big sister.

So this is the face that I see all the time. Very seldom does she leave my side (or lap). She is there to help with laundry, to unload/load the dishwasher, help feed Alex, and in this case, "Alex go night night?" "Rock a bye baby, Rock a bye baby!" While patting him on the back.

She's such a good little helper!

Aug. 17th - First days of school

Drew got to go to school today. He had a bad case of poison ivy that blistered and the dr. wanted him to stay home last Friday, so he missed his first day of school. Here is a picture of Zach and Drew on his first day of school.

I can't believe that they are in the 3rd grade this year!!

July 13

So I have a new addiction. It's FarmTown. But I have found a way to not spend as much time as I would normally. I get the boys to do my harvesting and they go to all my neighbors and help them out! Emmy loves to sit on my lap and help too!

When I was a para at LaHarpe the kids used to tell me all the time they could count to 100 and then they would say this. It's kinda what I'm thinking on my 365 blog. I skipped a few months, but I'm going to try to catch up.

Emmy turned 2 this year!! She had a puppy party. It's very exhausting running around making sure all the kids didn't play with her toys!!

Emmy got a new swing set for her birthday. Daddy was outside putting it together until 11 at night. Then the 3 kids bundled up and went out to swing and slipper side. She got to play on it the next day too. Then it snowed. Crazy huh?

This was one of the nicer days in March. ( you know before it snowed!) We spent all day outside. Picking up the yard and getting ready for summer. The ice cream truck came by and Emmy got a popsicle. By the time she was done, she was stained red and the popsicle had specks of dirt on it!

The boys each had a piece of art work that they did at school on display in Memorial Hall in Pittsburg. We went to go see it and I took a picture of the boys standing in front of their artwork. Drew did one of the weavings on display. We couldn't find his so I told him we would take his picture with it again when we he brought it home.

Disclaimer

Hello, to everyone that is still following this! It seems I am too busy to be able to sit down each day and upload my picture even if I do take one that day. So I think I'm going to ditch the whole Day XX and just put the date. That way when I do get time I can just post the date on the picture and not have to try to figure out what day I am on. Plus I think that would be easier for you all if you want to look back at a certain one. I would be able to remember a month better then a day.

I hope everyone has enjoyed looking at our pictures!

Feb 14, 2009 Happy Valentine's Day!!!

For Valentine's I always make the boys a "fancy" dinner. We set the with table with real dishes and they drank their cherry 7-Up out of a wine glass. I usually put chocolate on their plates and we have a Valentine's-y day dessert. This year I didn't get every thing as fancy as usual, but I still think they enjoyed it!
